My New Year's Resolution [Repost from Aiko's Treasure]

At the stroke of midnight on New Year’s day, we gather with loved ones, with champagne in hand (in my family’s case a new one dollar bill as well for good fortune), and proudly shout zero and “Happy New Year!” as we grab our beloved and give them a kiss welcoming the start of a new year. After that, we party and proclaim what we want to change in the coming year. These brief promises become our resolutions and some we accomplish, while others not so much. I’m no different from everyone else.

I have a bunch of things I want to accomplish this year and hope I find the means and strength to fulfill them all. But one of my main resolutions is to grow more as a writer and author...
